Bri’s career began in unexpected ways. After a stint in retail customer service, she sought a more fulfilling role and embraced positions as a veterinary technician and kennel attendant. A life-changing encounter with a seasoned groomer at a boarding facility sparked her interest in grooming. Encouraged to apply at PetSmart, Bri learned essential safety protocols and grooming techniques, even as she longed to explore creative styles like unique colors and custom scissor work. With over 12 years of experience working with animals, her passion led her to open her own grooming salon in 2015. Not stopping there, Bri extended her expertise to the educational realm by collaborating with DMACC in 2022 to establish a dog grooming trade program—making professional grooming more accessible to aspiring groomers.

Bri’s approach to grooming is rooted in one key principle: the comfort and well-being of every pet. Her salon operates under the ethos, “This salon won’t harm a pet to please a client.” Known as a “last chance groomer,” she often works with dogs facing behavioral challenges, taking the time needed—sometimes several hours—to understand their specific needs and tailor her techniques accordingly.
